What is Southside Life Care Center? 
Southside is a life-affirming, non-profit organization established to help low-income women and children in crisis situations. We serve this community in a number of ways but our primary focus is to connect with these women on a level that no other agency has taken the time to do. We strive to find out what each of our clients will need individually in order to create the best possible outcome for herself and her child(ren).
Southside – in every sense of the word – is a refuge for these families. Our services include quality prenatal care and ultrasounds, free & confidential pregnancy tests, education and career training, support groups, mentoring, material assistance, one-on-one counseling, parenting classes…the list goes on. By providing a loving support system, we assist these women through their times of struggle – empowering them with new coping skills to make better choices and ensure their long-term success.
It is our goal for 2008 to serve every woman that walks through our doors - in whatever way possible - to give each of them an OPPORTUNITY to live a triumphant life.
